Mamoru Hatakehama(7 dan) vs Akira Shima(8 dan) - 66th B-1 Juni-sen, July 20 2007

by takodori @ 2007-09-19 - 14:28:17

A new Kifu(shogi gamerecord) has been added to Kifu Database. Hatakeyama won the game in 135 moves. Gote's second move is G-3b which invites Sente to transfer his Rook. Sente accepts it. Both builds Anaguma-gakoi(castle). In the game of both Anaguma, an attacking side would like to make the position possible to make a check to his opponent's King. In other words, it is important to reform the Anaguma by dropping captured generals to prevent your King from being possible to be checked in the endgame like this game. You can replay the game by clicking either of the links below.
